BREAKING NEWS: From Our Home State Illinois... Rod Blagojevich: Gov.Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, were arrested Tuesday for what U.S. Atty. Patrick Fitzgerald called a "political corruption crime spree" that included attempts to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama. It's enough!! Ryan now Rod...we need to do something about our political system... This is a free forum for those Americans who, like us, have grown to dislike (hate is such and awful word but fits) politicians, hate politics and hate our political representation! We are educated folks, financially sound with our faculties intact and are disgusted with the display of our political system. We are weary of politicians because we KNOW, along with the rest of the Nation that they ONLY have their GREED and EGO in mind when getting to office. Taking care of the people is secondary and we ALL KNOW THIS....they just take care of themselves. The United States is the BEST place to live and we love our country dearly...but our political "system" (NOT THE INTENT OF THE SYSTEM) but the current state of the system is horrible! The promises they make for "change" is an absolute falsehood. Change can ONLY occur 1 degree at a time...and it takes a long time. We can not stand the back-stabbing ad-campaigns that are so immature you want to cringe. Are we back in high school? It's come to the sickening point that we are pushed into choosing the person who is going to the least amount of damage to us, NOT who is most qualified to do the job. What hurts more, there are honest folks trying to make a change as an elected official and they can't compete with other BIG NAME politicians because of laws, rules and lack of funds. FACT! It's true...they are basically pushed away for trying. Is that freedom? The purpose of our political system is to serve the people NOT serve themselves with money...not to become untouchable...NOT to be above a conscience for doing wrong or nothing at all. They have done all of these and continue to do so. To further the sting, the comedy shows (which do make us laugh) are doing nothing but furthering how comedic politicians are. After a while, don't you think "we are the biggest fools on this earth to be laughing because these "so-called" candidates are going to be elected officials." It's just not funny anymore guys. How many fraud charges are there? How many laws are broken? What are they doing with our money? What is really going on at Capital Hill? How did George W. get into office...I mean really? Isn't it embarassing to listen to him speak? Our political system has turned into a reality show and we are all buying into some false sense of security that "everything will be just fine!" Do you honestly believe that? Really... We are regular Americans and if you would like to point out wrongdoings by our elected officials please go to the free forum !! It's our RIGHT to say it loud and say it proud with no reservation....let your voice be heard how many of us are SICK AND TIRED OF POLITICS and the current state it's in!!! Our purpose is to provide a non-violent forum where we can explore, vent, complain, expose, and agitate about American politics . This site will be monitored....we use words not violence!
